Salmon River Fishing Museum Hosts Free Seminar and Tournament for Kids Sept. 17, 2017

PULASKI - The Salmon River International Sport Fishing Museum, 3044 State Rte. 13, Pulaski, will host a free kids' fishing seminar and tournament from 1 to 3:30 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 17. Outdoor writer Spider Rybaak, carp fishing guide Mike McGrath and museum president Mike Riordan will host the event and provide basic fishing tips to visitors.

While supplies last, all participants will receive a free tackle box, fishing tackle and a copy of the "NY State Beginner's Guide to Fishing."

The museum will be open Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m., Sept. 15 through Oct. 29. For information call 315-374-2997 or

Get hooked on Fishtory - October 7, 2017 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

On October 7, 2017 the museum will host its 4th Annual Celebrate Fishing Show and Sale. This day is filled with fishing fun and games! The museum opens its doors at
10:00am and the event runs until 4:00pm. During the day, visitors can have a free tour of the Museum, Gifts shop, and Use of our Grounds including fishing for Largemouth
Bass in our pond.

Fishing Seminars every hour that last 20 minutes. These will be repeated throughout the day.
Free Beginners Guides to Freshwater Fishing books will be available to all that attend the seminars.
Door Prizes, raffles, and silent auctions will be held.
There will be Casting Challenges, Go Fish Games, interactive Fish displays, and much more!
On our grounds will be a show and sale of new, used and vintage fishing tackle.
There will be refreshments and our snack shop will be open.
